How does Fraxel Work?
The Fraxel laser works differently than many other laser resurfacing methods. Fraxel uses a specialized technique of intensely targeting deep microthermal zones in your skin while leaving the surrounding areas untouched in a fractional manner, hence the name Fraxel.
These zones penetrate deeply into the dermis, which produces collagen remodeling and reduces wrinkles. They also resurface the skin, resulting in the reduction or complete elimination of uneven pigment. This "fractional" treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body's natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue to replace skin imperfections. Whether you have sun damage, wrinkles or other signs of age, Fraxel treatment delivers remarkable results with quick recovery, so you can quickly return to work or other activities with renewed skin along with a renewed confidence in yourself.
