Radiesse Post-Procedure Instructions
- You can anticipate being sore or aching after your Radiesse injection. Tylenol can be used if needed.
- You can anticipate being swollen and having bruising after your treatment. The swelling usually is gone within 3 days. The bruising can last up to a week.
- To minimize bruising, avoid blood thinning medications, such as ibuprofen, aspirin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil and Alcohol.
- After your treatment, you can apply cold compresses to help reduce swelling.
- It is normal to feel firm for the first few days. Over time, the area will soften and feel natural.
- Avoid sun exposure after your treatment. Report any persistent issues to your provider.
