TCA Peel Post-procedure Instructions
- Keep your skin hydrated with A&D ointment for the first 4 days.
- Your skin will darken as it dries. You will begin peeling approximately 48 hours after the acid peel.
- DO NOT pick or pull at the skin as it is peeling. This could cause scarring or other discoloration. Let your skin exfoliate on its own.
- Avoid sun exposure. Wear sunscreen daily.
- Continue to hydrate your skin after the 4th day with prescribed moisturizer.
- Avoid all exfoliants (retinoids, acids, scrubs) and wash skin gently.
- Avoid heavy exercise for 4 days.
- Avoid makeup application until the peeling process has completed.
