Masking Policy

In response to the everchanging CDC guidelines regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, Austin Plastic Surgery Institute will be following the guidelines cited by the Texas Medical Board which are to follow the state and federal mandates. Texas Governor Abbott lifted the state mask mandate March 10th, 2021. The CDC has noted that fully vaccinated people may return to normal activities without masking or social distancing and non-vaccinated people should adhere to the minimum safe-practice standards which includes masking and social distancing.

In consideration of the most recent CDC update, APSI will no longer require masks for vaccinated patients or staff. We strongly recommend those that are not vaccinated to wear a mask and continue the minimum safe practice standards. We reserve the right to change this policy, as necessary.
