We now offer PRP known as platelet rich plasma into our practice. We obtain the PRP by first drawing your blood and using the centrifuge to separate the plasma from your red blood cells. The plasma can then be used in addition to several services that we offer here like microneedling, halo, diva, oshot, hair restoration and injections. For the PRP facial and often times referred to as the vampire facial we start by applying the PRP topically to the skin and microneedling over the area to create microchannels. This helps to soften fine lines and wrinkles as well as even texture and tone of skin all while boosting your bodies own collagen and elastin in the area. Adding the PRP helps with faster healing time, essentially turbo charging your treatment and results.

The goal of PRP therapy is to resolve pain through healing, it could prove to have lasting results. Initial improvement may be seen within a few weeks, gradually increasing as the healing progresses. Research studies and clinical practice have shown PRP therapy to be very effective at relieving pain and returning patients to their normal lives. Both ultrasound and MRI studies have shown definitive tissue repair after PRP therapy, confirming the benefits of this healing process. The need for surgery can also be greatly reduced by treating injured tissues before the damage progresses and the condition is irreversible.
